British Wildlife

When I was young I had an Observer Book of British Wildlife. I used to look at the black and white photographs and hope to see all the animals. I used to hide in my den waiting to spot something in the garden. My friends and I went on a Brownie camp on Dartmoor when I was about 7 and my friend Di and I were convinced that we saw an otter in the river. The glimpse was fleeting but I can still remember how excited we were.

These are all the animals I saw, either in my dreams or for real!!
